We’re hiring a technologist in our London office who is eager to learn, ready to grow, and excited to make a difference from day one.

What You’ll Do

As an Environmental/OHS Technologist, you’ll be trained to provide our full range of consulting services, including:

  • Asbestos and Mould Assessments
  • Designated Substances and Hazardous Materials Sampling
  • Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I/II)
  • Indoor Air Quality and Lead Survey

You’ll spend about half your time working independently in the field, visiting a variety of industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) sites in the surrounding region. The other half will be spent collaborating at our local office.

Office Location:

  • Commissioners Road E. & Adelaide Street S.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site inspections and collecting environmental samples (air, dust, material, water)
  • Monitoring site conditions using field instruments and detectors
  • Interviewing client representatives and documenting observations
  • Compiling findings for detailed technical reports
  • Learning and applying relevant regulations, including OHSA, O. Reg. 278/05, 490/09, and others

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is curious, reliable, and ready to learn.

Must-Haves:

  • Field experience in environmental, OHS, or hazardous materials services
  • Diploma, degree, or certificate in environmental studies, OHS, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certifications/designations like WRT, AMRT, CET, or ROHT
  • Health & safety training (WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection)
  • Familiarity with hazardous building materials (asbestos, lead, silica, PCBs, etc.)
  • Experience with IAQ evaluations or occupational hygiene assessments
  • Knowledge of Ontario regulations such as O. Reg. 278/05, 490/09, OHSA, and O. Reg. 833

Position Details

  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Locations:
    • London office (Commissioners Rd. E. & Adelaide St. S) + field travel
  • Salary: Starting at $40,000 (negotiable based on experience)
  • Vacation: 3 weeks to start
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to support evening/weekend site work as needed (averaging 40 hrs/week)
