After more than four decades in the occupational hygiene profession, Richard Quenneville, B.Sc., CIH, ROH, transitioned to semi-retirement effective June 30, 2026.
Richard joined T. Harris Environmental Management Inc. (THEM) in 2005 and has played an important role in the growth of our Occupational Hygiene practice for more than 20 years. Throughout his tenure, he has provided technical leadership and guidance in best practices to clients across a wide range of occupational hygiene and health and safety projects.
In recognition of his contributions to the profession, Richard received the Hugh Nelson Award of Excellence in Occupational Hygiene in 2013. This prestigious lifetime achievement award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and a lasting contribution to the field of occupational hygiene.
While Richard is stepping back from his full-time role, his semi-retirement may provide opportunities for him to continue supporting THEM and our clients in an advisory capacity where appropriate.
To ensure continuity of service, Siu Keung (Kenny) Li, M.Sc., CIH, CSP, CRSP, in conjunction with Katrina Ahchong, M.A.Sc. and Raj Singh, P.Eng., MBA has assumed responsibility for Richard’s occupational hygiene and health and safety portfolio. Clients can continue to expect the same level of technical expertise and responsive service that has been a hallmark of THEM for more than 45 years.
